RELIEF COUNSELING
Individuals, Couples, & Families

Therapy for understanding the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck.
Sometimes the things we struggle with most are trying to tell us something.
Anxiety, depression, recurring behaviors, or conflict at home can leave us feeling frustrated, disconnected, or defined by the very symptoms we're experiencing. Erickson helps individuals and families look beyond those labels to better understand what may be happening beneath the surface.
Rather than simply asking how to make a symptom disappear, he invites clients to explore what it might be signaling—and what needs attention, understanding, or change.

A little about Ross
Erickson works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, addiction-related concerns, and recurring patterns of behavior.
He believes that while diagnoses and symptoms can help us understand our experiences, they don't have to define who we are. Sometimes, the struggles we experience are signals that something in our lives, relationships, or ways of coping needs our attention.
Much of Erickson's experience has centered on working with adolescents and families experiencing behavioral challenges, emotional distress, and conflict within the home. He understands how easily families can become caught in cycles of frustration and disconnection, even when everyone involved wants things to be different.
His work also includes helping adults recognize and explore unwanted or repetitive behaviors, particularly those connected to anxiety, depression, and addiction.
Through therapy, Erickson creates space for clients to examine these patterns with curiosity, better understand themselves and their relationships, and begin making meaningful changes.

HIS APPROACH
Looking beyond symptoms. Understanding the signals. Creating meaningful change.
Erickson approaches therapy with the belief that our struggles often carry important information about what is happening within us and around us.
Rather than viewing symptoms or difficult behaviors as isolated problems, he encourages clients to consider how their experiences may be connected to relationships, family dynamics, emotional needs, and established patterns of coping.
For adolescents and families, this may mean exploring the cycles of conflict that leave everyone feeling misunderstood or frustrated. For adults, it may involve recognizing repetitive behaviors, examining their underlying influences, and developing healthier ways of responding.
As a marriage and family therapist, Erickson brings a relational perspective to his work, recognizing that our experiences are often shaped by the relationships and environments in which we live.
His goal is to help clients move beyond simply identifying what's wrong and toward a deeper understanding of what their experiences may be communicating.
Therapy becomes a place to recognize those signals, explore what needs attention, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
