RELIEF COUNSELING
Individuals & Couples
In Person & Telehealth
Therapy for people who are ready to understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep showing up.
Sometimes the ways you've learned to cope with life work—until they don't.
You may find yourself second-guessing your decisions, struggling in relationships, feeling anxious about what comes next, or wondering why you keep falling into the same patterns. Ross works with people who want to better understand what's happening underneath those experiences and develop a stronger sense of trust in themselves.

A little about Ross
Ross works with people who are navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, identity questions, and seasons of change.
He believes that many of the patterns we struggle with today developed for a reason. Ways of coping that once helped us feel safe, connected, or in control can eventually become limiting. Rather than judging those patterns, Ross helps clients become curious about where they came from, what purpose they've served, and whether they still fit the life they're trying to build.
His work is particularly relational. Therapy with Ross isn't about having someone tell you what's wrong with you or hand you a checklist of things to fix. It's a collaborative process of understanding yourself more deeply, recognizing the patterns influencing your choices and relationships, and developing new ways of responding that feel more intentional and authentic.

HIS APPROACH
Relational, curious, & grounded.
Ross believes meaningful change often begins with understanding rather than judgment.
Instead of treating anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship patterns as problems that simply need to disappear, he helps clients explore where those experiences come from and what they may be trying to communicate.
His work is grounded in person-centered and relational therapy while drawing from attachment-based, psychodynamic, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches. This allows therapy to move between understanding the experiences that shaped you and making practical changes in how you think, respond, and relate today.
Ross places particular importance on the therapeutic relationship itself. Sessions are collaborative, and clients are encouraged to bring curiosity to the parts of themselves they may have previously criticized, avoided, or misunderstood.
The goal isn't to become a completely different person. It's to understand yourself well enough to recognize what still serves you, let go of what doesn't, and move through life with greater confidence and intention.
